This coming Halloween ex-M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> guitarist Mick Mars <\/strong>is dropping the first single off his highly anticipated debut solo album, and while much of the project has been ‘top secret’, details have begun to emerge about the musicians involved in Mick’s band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is Jacob Bunton?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The lead vocalist for the forthcoming Mick Mars<\/strong> debut solo album is no stranger to success in the entertainment business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacob Bunton<\/a><\/strong> (Lynam, Mars Electric and Adler) has won an Emmy Award for his songwriting work in television. The Southeast Emmy awards took place in Atlanta, GA on June 18, 2011.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a huge honor and I am very grateful…\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacob discusses the debut Mick Mars solo album:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I can tell you that (over) several months we wrote and recorded a record and Michael Wagener<\/strong> produced it. The great Michael Wagener <\/strong>from (mixing 1986 Metallica album) \u201cMaster of Puppets\u201d and all that kind of stuff. He worked with M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> on their very first record \u201cToo Fast For Love.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Michael\u2019s producing the record because that was the first producer Mick worked with in M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong> so he wanted to do his solo album, so it\u2019s been really cool.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mick Mars <\/strong>will drop his first single as a solo artist on Halloween. Limited details are currently known about the release but Eddie Trunk <\/strong>posted the following to his social media<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Pleased to announce that I will be bringing you the world premiere of the first ever solo music from @mrmickmars on #trunknation ! I’ll debut the song 10\/30, Mick<\/strong> will join me for an interview 10\/31! @SIRIUSXM 103 Faction Talk @TrunkNationSXM . 3P ET”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new album is called\u00a0The Other Side of Mars<\/em>. Mars<\/strong>‘ scheduled interview with\u00a0Trunk\u00a0<\/strong>on October 31st will hopefully answer any other questions fans have, namely a release date and what any live gigs could be happening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
