Last week saw\u00a0<strong>Thy Art Is Murder<\/strong>\u00a0make the surprising decision to digitally release their latest album \u201c<strong>Godlike<\/strong>\u201d with newly re-recorded vocals from the then unidentified musician. No advance notice was given of the switch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Along with the album was word of the band\u2019s\u00a0decision to fire their frontman\u00a0<strong>CJ McMahon<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">It was said that\u00a0<strong>McMahon<\/strong>\u2018s sharing of his increasingly controversial viewpoints on several topics had become an issue for the band, including\u00a0his infamous commentary on gender identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The band revealed the identity of their new vocalist live onstage last night, September 27th, during their show at the Turbinenhalle 2 in Oberhausen, Germany.
