WEREWOLF RECORDS is proud to present a brand-new maxi-single from Finland’s VARGRAV,\u00a0Encircle the Spectral Dimension<\/em>, on CD and digital formats.

<\/strong>From the dawn of the classic debut album,\u00a0Netherstorm<\/em>, in 2018, Finland’s VARGRAV have almost single-handedly reinvigorated the oft-maligned symphonic black metal subgenre. Forged in fires from the ancients – founder V-Khaoz’s credentials are vast and stretch back decades – and stoking the embers last left by Obtained Enslavement and Norway’s Covenant and Odium, VARGRAV’s two albums to date stand as proud pillars of shimmering, classics-based obsidian.

Now, in anticipation of VARGRAV’s forthcoming third album, the band will release a maxi-single titled\u00a0Encircle the Spectral Dimension<\/em>. With a lineup that now includes the notorious Graf Werwolf von Armageddon on vocals, VARGRAV’s swirling, cosmic surge has never been more potent, as poignantly displayed by the title track “Encircle the Spectral Dimension,” which will also feature on said third album. The next two tracks on the CD version are\u00a0The Glory of Eternal Night<\/em>\u00a0EP, which was previously only released as a bonus 7″ with the vinyl version of\u00a0Netherstorm<\/em>. These two tracks are actually VARGRAV’s very first recording – and of course, “Ancient Queen” is an Emperor cover (and won’t be available digitally). The concluding track is a live version of “Netherstorm” from the band’s debut performance at Steelfest 2019. With mastering courtesy of Trollhouse Audio (and remastering of the two EP tracks there),\u00a0Encirlce the Spectral Dimension<\/em>\u00a0is a mandatory short-length for stargazers and dream warriors!
