It was also Rocket who first predicted that troubled singer <strong>Vince Neil <\/strong>would need to rely on doing lip-syncing at all of the glam band&#8217;s big comeback concerts <em>because his singing voice is destroyed from years of alcohol and drug abuse.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/metaladdicts.com\/video-of-nikki-sixx-playing-with-backing-tracks-emerges-online-raised-both-arms-while-bass-continued-to-play\/?fbclid=IwAR2zVmq0aUfmku-cvV8FNpvjBllCoLhhrZ6YripuBTp1DTaySF3oae6fM-Y\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"525\" height=\"513\"  data-gnlv=\"hey\" src=\"https:\/\/themetalden.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-137.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-101960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/themetalden.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-137.png 525w, https:\/\/themetalden.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/image-137-300x293.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">With the Crue&#8217;s forthcoming new studio album, fifteen long years since 2008&#8217;s &#8220;Saints of Los Angeles&#8221;, on its way to music consumers soon, TMD revealed that Bob Rock is<a href=\"https:\/\/metalwani.com\/2023\/04\/industry-source-says-bob-rock-will-be-motley-crues-ghost-bassist-on-upcoming-studio-album.html\"> rumored to be the &#8220;ghost bassist&#8221; <\/a>on the new Crue album, because bassist <strong>Nikki Sixx<\/strong> cannot really play his the instrument well enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">During his work with&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/metaladdicts.com\/tag\/motley-crue\">M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;on new material, producer&nbsp;<strong>Bob Rock<\/strong>&nbsp;shared that&nbsp;<strong>Nikki Sixx<\/strong>&nbsp;had doubts about his involvement in the first four albums of the band.&nbsp;<strong>Rock<\/strong>&nbsp;disclosed this information during an interview on&nbsp;<strong>Chris Jericho<\/strong>\u2018s&nbsp;<strong>\u201cThis Is Jericho\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>Rock<\/strong>&nbsp;mentioned that he made&nbsp;<strong>Sixx<\/strong>&nbsp;play every note on the 1989 album&nbsp;<strong><em>Dr. Feelgood<\/em><\/strong>, and when they worked on the demos for&nbsp;<em><strong>The Dirt<\/strong><\/em>,&nbsp;<strong>Sixx<\/strong>&nbsp;had become an exceptional bass player after taking bass lessons for five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Rock<\/strong>&nbsp;recalled: \u201cHe goes, \u2018I don\u2019t think I ever played on any of the&nbsp;<strong>M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong>&nbsp;records. I think somebody came in at night and replaced all my parts.\u2019 He says, \u2018So I don\u2019t really know how to play bass.\u2019 And I said, \u2018Too bad. You\u2019re playing bass on it.\u2019 So I worked with him through&nbsp;<em><strong>Dr. Feelgood<\/strong><\/em>, did a lot of edits and made him play every note.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading alignwide has-text-align-center\">\u2018So I don\u2019t really know how to play bass.\u2019 &#8211; Nikk Sixx<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Believe it or not, word going around is that Sixx&#8217;s playing on Feelgood was still replaced without telling him so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Last month,<strong>&nbsp;Mick<\/strong> <strong>Mars<\/strong>&nbsp;gained attention as he filed a lawsuit against the band, alleging widespread use of backing tracks during live performances and accusing bassist&nbsp;<strong>Nikki Sixx<\/strong>&nbsp;of manipulating him into thinking he had lost cognitive abilities and guitar skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">In&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/metaladdicts.com\/mick-mars-is-now-suing-motley-crue-says-all-of-nikki-sixxs-bass-tracks-on-the-stadium-tour-were-pre-recorded\/\">the lawsuit<\/a>,&nbsp;<strong>Mick<\/strong>&nbsp;alleges that&nbsp;<strong>M\u00d6TLEY CR\u00dcE<\/strong>&nbsp;reduced his share of earnings from 25 percent to a mere 5 percent after revealing his decision to withdraw from touring.
