SACRED REICH – Drop New Music Video

SACRED REICH have newly released a video for their track “Manifest Reality” that was filmed during their 2019 European touring. The band’s frontman/bassist Phil Rind commented:

OROCHEN – Debut New Song

A new member in the Suicide Records family, Swedish four piece group OROCHEN will release their third EP titled “Thylacine” on September 18th. 

 Named after a striped Tasmanian tiger that went extinct in the 20th century, the follow-up to their second EP “Mechanical Eyes” released earlier this year was mixed and mastered by Karl Daniel Lidén (Crippled Black Phoenix, Greenleaf, Novarupta, Breach, The Old Wind) and features the guest vocals of Alex Stjernfelt (Novarupta, Ex. Mr Death, Ex. Moth Gatherer) on the closing song “The Jonestown Deathtape”.

DOWN – To Livestream Concert On August 29

This year marks the 25th anniversary of DOWN‘s 1995-released, now classic debut, “NOLA”. Plans for select shows featuring vocalist Philip Anselmo, guitarists Pepper Keenan and Kirk Windstein, drummer Jimmy Bower and bassist Pat Bruders performing the record in its entirety were sidelined due to the global pandemic. In its wake, the band is pleased to announce an exclusive livestream later this month.

Fittingly dubbed “The Quarter Century Throwdown”, the high-production, multi-camera event will take place August 29 at 6:00 p.m. EST using cutting-edge streaming technology to create a one-of-a-kind virtual concert experience. KATAKLYSM – Trailer For New Album “Unconquered”

Canadian melodic death metal act KATAKLYSM announced their 14th full-length studio album, “Unconquered,” will be unleashed on September 25th via Nuclear Blast Records.

Lars Göran Petrov, longtime vocalist of Swedish death metal legends ENTOMBED and current vocalist of offshoot ENTOMBED A.D., is reportedly battling incurable cancer.

A GoFundMe has been launched, with Petrov stating the following:

“I’ve been hit with uncureable cancer (gallvägscancer in Swedish), and have been battling it for some time now. It can’t be removed but the doctors are trying to control it with chemo therapy. Life takes its weird turns…
