ENFORCED – Sign With Century Media Records

Richmond thrashers ENFORCED have signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The band is currently hard at work on their upcoming studio album, Kill Grid, with their long time engineer/producer Bob Quirk as well as Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy) handling mixing.

“We are beyond excited to bolster the ranks at Century Media. To be joining the roster with artists like Triptykon, Body Count, Napalm Death, Mayhem and Voivod feels like a dream. Currently, we are recording our debut LP for Century Media. Enforced is everything to us and it’s so special for us to see so much support from our fans as well as the label. SOUNDGARDEN – Launch New Social Media Accounts

SOUNDGARDEN’s surviving members (Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd and Matt Cameron) have launched their own new social media accounts. Those accounts have been launched under the moniker of Nude.Dragons, a name Soundgarden used for a live performance back around a decade ago. You can find them now Twitter and Instagram under that handle.

Whether or not these new social media accounts have anything to do with their ongoing legal dispute with the widow of their late frontman Chris Cornell has yet to be disclosed.

As the story goes, this past May, the band’s aforementioned legal battle saw them mention their objections to Vicky Cornell‘s access to the official Soundgarden social media accounts, taking issue with how she represented the band on them.

JOB FOR A COWBOY – Set To Record New Album

A month ago JOB FOR A COWBOY reappeared on Twitter following a six-year absence and appeared to tease their impending return. Unfortunately, no additional or subsequent information surfaced.

A newly posted interview with JFAC production partner Jason Suecof now confirms what many fans had hoped: Job For A Cowboy are working on a new record.

During a recent appearance on “The Ex-Man with Doc Coyle” podcast, Suecof was asked what he was currently up to and his response was the following:

“I am working on a little Necro pre-pro. Supposed to be recording Job For a Cowboy right now but, ya know, the apocalypse and all.”

Further details were not revealed, however, one thing is clear: Job For A Cowboy were supposed to be in the studio this spring tracking new music...
