SYLO – Wins TMD’s First Battle Of The Bands!

Texarkana, Texas metal act SYLO has been crowned the champion of TMD’s first annual Battle Of The Bands.
SYLO was formed in 2002 as the brainchild of guitarist Dave Ferland, who wanted to create a new sound of heavy and powerful metal music. Jared McCasland joined in 2008 on bass, and after learning the SYLO catalogue in two weeks has since become the driving force behind each song’s arrangement and fluidity. Dave then spotted Danny Sneed in 2009 and knew he was the exact front man needed to bring the talent and energy demanded by every SYLO song. Mark Holloway was recruited in 2011, and as the youngest member he’s proved he’s not only a gifted drummer, but also an exciting performer. These four musicians are ready to conquer the masses with their shredding solos, power groove rhythms, soul crushing vocals, and devastating thrash tempos!
