Swedish Rock Magazine Fails To Recognize New KISS Members

Here are the 4 covers for the RED HOT ROCK MAGAZINE that will come out in Sweden this week. Notice how they’ve chosen to run each cover with only the original members?

Hey! What about Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer? They are the actual ‘current’ members
in the band, right?

In total, there are 14 pages about KISS and Ace in the magazine. It looks as if our
Swedish friends – like many old school KISS fans all around the globe – only dig the original lineup
and will accept no substitutes. Let’s not forget that Kiss Alive/Worldwide/Lost Cities/Reunion Tour was the top-grossing act in ALL of music in 1996 and 1997… yes, with Ace and Peter in the lineup.

Immediately after though, the cat and space man left the band over internal disagreements, being replaced by their own tour manager (Thayer) and former Alice Cooper/Lita Ford skinsman.

Now if you listen closely, Gene Simmons, you can hear a dull chant growing into a loud stadium-filled roar:

“We want Ace and Peter back!!!”

We’re just saying.
