WEAPÖNIZER – Signs With 20 Buck Spin

20 Buck Spin has signed Denver’s WEAPÖNIZER for the June 30th release of second LP, “Lawless Age.” The label today issues a warning shot from the album, titled “Hellbound.” LISTEN BELOW!!

20 Buck Spin is a record label originally from the East Bay Area of California, now located in Olympia, Washington. It has existed since 2005. It is focused on heavy and dark music.

Demo Policy:

Though not generally seeking new projects as we have a long stretch of commitments we’re open to submissions. It is helpful to note your tour experience up to now as this is an important factor for us. Bands who have already shown the will to tour, and plan to continue doing so, will be favored. Full bands are favored over 1 person projects.

We do not release 7″ vinyl.
We do not release 10″ vinyl.
We do not release split vinyl unless we’ve previously worked with one of the bands on a full length album (and the above size restrictions still apply).
We will not release a 2xLP vinyl for a band’s first album (and prefer albums of single LP length always). Single LP length albums are favored.
For the most part we do not co-release on the same format with other labels.

The preferred submission method is a link to streaming music sent to: demos [at] 20buckspin.com. A bandcamp link is ideal. Do not send MP3s to our email. Youtube links are OK. We accept demos via mail on TAPE or VINYL only, however if you have a bandcamp site, or other streaming option, save yourself the money and just send a link. Do not send us CDs or CD-Rs, they will be discarded.

WE WILL ONLY REPLY IF WE’RE INTERESTED IN TALKING FURTHER REGARDING A RELEASE. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO RESPOND WITH FEEDBACK OR LET YOU KNOW OUR OPINION OF YOUR MUSIC OR OTHERWISE RESPOND TO SOLICITATIONS.

We get a good number of submissions every week and it’s simply too time consuming to respond to everybody writing what are almost always ‘thanks but no thanks’ type emails. We appreciate all who are interested to work with us, we find it flattering. Thanks.
