METALLICA – Rejected By Gaga, “Moth” Tattoo Removed!

With all the hoopla that has gone on in the music world since METALLICA’s ‘epic fail’ collaboration with pop star Lady Gaga at this year’s Grammys show, in which during the song “Moth Into Flame”, 26 million watched James Hetfield sing into a dead microphone for the first quarter of the tune, fans all around the world have been calling for the two giants to work together again. Lars absolutely is in for more, James not so much… Kirk, well he wears pink jackets and black fingernail polish so we know he’s definitely into rocking out more with Gaga. And let’s be honest, Robert doesn’t look like he gives a shit as long as the large paychecks keep clearing into his bank account, right?

Well, no matter what the world’s biggest rock band thinks about working with Gaga again, it appears the pop superstar herself is the one who has now turned her back on Lars & Kirk’s perverted old men fantasies. Remember that hideous looking “Moth” tattoo ‘supposedly’ Gaga got permanently plastered onto her back before the Grammys? Yeah, it was massive… and it was her way of showing the world her absolute devotion to the band, right? Not so fast…

Lady Gaga Removed Her METALLICA Tattoo!!

(TMD has obtained a new picture of Gaga on the set of shooting her movie “A Star is Born” With Bradley Cooper and Dave Chappelle taken in May… (GASP) NO MORE METALLICA MOTH TATTOO IN SIGHT!!!)

Okay… now the cat is out of the bag. The tattoo was a fake. Not real. Just like the rest of the staged ‘mic fail’ incident that was purely devised well ahead of the actual live performance.

James Hetfield’s pissed off response where he threw his guitar in anger was all staged too.

Think about it? If Gaga was so dedicated to being the 5th member of the band as Lars has been leading all the media to believe for months, why remove the tattoo? Why even get it in the first place? Oh yeah… she was just pretending to be part of the band, that’s right.

Maybe Gaga herself has a ‘million reasons’ why she would not be interested in working with METALLICA.

1. Lady Gaga is not a real metal musician… and she knows this.

2. Lady Gaga is too busy shooting big Hollywood movies with the likes of Bradley Cooper.

3. Lars Ulrich is not as handsome as Bradley Cooper.

4. Lady Gaga sold 100 million records in a 3 year period… a feat never accomplished until her!

Okay. You get the idea. You see where this is going… Lady Gaga needs Metallica about as much
as we all need a serious case of herpes.

Asked by the New York Post if he thinks the microphone malfunction made the Grammy performance even more exciting, Hetfield said:

“I felt embarrassed.”

“I haven’t been that angry in a long time. When something out of my control goes wrong, I still get wound up. I’m sure it taps into other stuff from my past, but I felt helpless. I agree, it ended up being a blessing because I ended up singing in a microphone with Lady Gaga — maybe even more than she wanted. It felt more like a real collaboration because of that.”
