The Prince of Darkness leaked out the news inadvertently while doing Q&A with iheartRadio he plans to bring back his former longtime partner in crime for one more go at ultimate metal glory.
“Me and Zakk have been jamming again. I told him as long as he stops with all the ‘squeal’ shit, we
should be alright. Plus I love him like I am his father and he is my son, you know? It’s a Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker kinda thing. I told him he must play like Randy Rhoads on steroids if we’re going to really do this final album the right way. So I bought him a bag full of pumpers.”
TMD spoke with Zakk Wylde on speaker phone while he was lifting weights and listening to ABBA full blast.
“Yeah, me and Dad, you know… I love him (grunts) like he’s my father. I know I say that every time anyone asks me anything about Oz, but I tell yah… (sniffs) that man means the fucking world to me!”
Ozzy did mention Sharon had one stipulation with the two reuniting once again: “If Zakk doesn’t shower while on tour for 73 days in a row again I am going to divorce you.”
Ozzy’s last solo album Scream, released on June 11, 2010 is the first solo album by the legendary BLACK SABBATH frontman to feature guitarist Gus G, who replaced longtime shredder Zakk Wylde.
Zakk ended the phone call by issuing this promise: “Look, if Ozzy fires me again it’s not like someone can replace me this time, right? This is the last damn album!”
