FATES WARNING – European Tour Recap Issued

FATES WARNING has checked in with this European Tour recap:

“Well folks, we’ve been back from the European tour for a few days now, and now that I’ve had time to unwind and reflect on what this tour was like I’d like to share my thoughts with you all… First of all I would like to personally thank each and every person that made it out to our shows in Europe.

“This was a very special tour. Not that any of the others haven’t been, this one was just electric. I could feel it every night I stepped out on the stage. Yes, we were excited to play the new material but it seems that most of the crowds were even more excited to hear it. You, our wonderful fans, have no idea how that feels. To have played in this band for so long and to have everyone singing along to the new album was just, well it was amazing. Thank you for that.

“The tour started out strong, with our first sold out show in Essen, Germany. What a great crowd and evening that was!! In fact the crowds for this tour were about twice as big as our last European tour… And we could not have asked for more enthusiastic crowds. Every night was just as exciting as the last.

“After the Essen show I started to feel a little bug, I hoped I wasn’t getting a cold because that could ruin the entire tour for me. Well, I did get a cold, actually the flu. I had a very high fever, and that super spacey feeling that comes along with it. Then the chest cold came and the inevitable sore throat. I was fortunate enough to not lose my voice completely but I certainly wasn’t at the top of my game. And since we were traveling on a bus I managed to infect every one that was with me. Bobby got it the worst, he had to go to a doctor in Germany because his fever was so high, around 102.9… (sorry Bobby) That was a day off and we were very lucky because had it not been we don’t think that he would have been able to play that night.

“But despite the sickness that was ravaging the band and crew we managed to have a great time. Mainly because of you, the fans. You were incredible. And walking out to packed houses every night was more than we could have hoped for. But also because of the friendship I share with my bandmates. You guys are my brothers, my family. And I know that I am very lucky to be able to share a stage with some of the most talented musicians in the business. I could not be more proud of what we have accomplished together. That’s a fact. And I thank you all for having me along for the ride.

“We are about to release some more tour dates very soon, so keep your eyes and ears open! We want to tour as much as we possibly can for ‘Theories’ and hopefully we will make it to some places we’ve never been.

“Thank you Athens, Greece for one of the most incredible nights of my life. You are always amazing, but this last show was moving. Truly heartfelt. I think we have a bond that has grown between us over the years. And it is only getting stronger! Thank you ALL for making this one of the most successful tours we have ever had. We can’t wait to see you again!”
