Swedish heavy metal band, STEELWING, has announced plans to disband following a set of final shows in Spetember / October. The band comments:
“Since the rumors are already out there you should hear it directly from us: after 8 years together in the trenches, the three shows we’re playing in Germany this fall will be the last time we play together as Steelwing.
“With our third and last album we accomplished what we set out to do: we reset, rebooted and redeemed the Steelwing legacy. But we will not allow ourselves to rot with the ghosts of the past; we will continue to move forward and strive to reach our full potential as human beings.
“From this page (Facebook) we will keep you posted on the future enterprises of the five restless souls that have made up the Steelwing outfit over the past years. Make sure to come by and wreak havoc together with us one last time! Marauders, we thank you for your dedicated service!”
