inland’s inventive, progressive metal quartet, ODDLAND, has issued the first official single from their upcoming second album, Origin. The follow-up to their Century Media-released 2012 debut The Treachery Of Senses, the impending Origin album will see release in early September through the band’s new label home of Sensory Records. As an early preview of the band’s latest works, the record’s fifth track “Hidden” comes forth through an animated cover art video, exclusively via Revolver Magazine.
ODDLAND offers of the track, “This song is about self-deprecation and a hidden strength and talent, that cannot truly thrive until the person sees and believes it himself. Stylistically, “Hidden” represents a side of Origin where strong dynamics and contrasts interact in fluent dialogue.”
