Ozzfest and Knotfest will officially merge this year. The meeting of the two festivals was announced via a press conference in Los Angeles, CA today, May 12th, with various members of the performing outfits on hand. Given recent marital troubles, Sharon Osbourne was also surprisingly present for the festival reveal.
The pairing has been titled ‘Ozzfest Meets Knotfest‘ and is due to take place at the San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA with ‘Ozzfest‘ taking place Saturday, September 24th and ‘Knotfest‘ taking place the following day Sunday, September 25th. Black Sabbath will headline the ‘Ozzfest‘ date and Slipknot will headline the ‘Knotfest‘ date.
