ANCIENT ALTAR – Release New Track

Los Angeles-based post-apocalyptic sludge outfit ANCIENT ALTAR released their self-titled debut and subsequent “Tidal” video last year to absolutely non-stop rave reviews, and they’re not slowing down: Just announced is their sophomore album, Dead Earth, which will see the light of day on September 1st on LP via Black Voodoo Records, with a cassette version to follow through Midnite Collective. The band will also do a quick run of tour dates in August, and a bigger tour in the fall which will be announced soon. Today, CVLT Nation is hosting the first peek at the record: the title track, “Dead Earth,” which depicts a departure from the planet after all is dead and smoldering.
