Romania’s Maximum Rock Festival will return in 2015 with a new edition featuring headliners Epica and Annihilator. The festival takes place from October 15th – 18th, and the organizers also had this to say:
“Apart from these two significant names, the event will also feature performances by other international and local acts, just as enticing as the headliners. Many new bands will be confirmed shortly.
“The success of the two previous indoor editions has led to the creation of a tradition, which, through perseverance and professionalism, transformed the show into a crucial one for the Romanian, and international, entertainment market.
“More and more people from Bulgaria, Hungary, Austria, Germany and so on choose to spend a week of October at the Festival! Because the audience awarded, again and again, its trust to the organizers, the festival has grown a great deal, and, as a result and a symbol of this, we have decided to extend the event to a 4 day affair, instead of 2, like before.
“The enthusiasm of the bands which have, in great number, written to us expressing their desire to perform, as well as the fans’ desire to have a longer festival experience, has led to the event earning more days.
“Therefore, Maximum Rock Festival will take place between October 15th and 18th, with the first and last days hosting club gigs, while the middle days will take place in the new, ultra-central venue, Arenele Romane (previous gigs which took place here include Testament, Amon Amarth, Sabaton, Helloween and so on).
“The exquisite location, as well as the devoted following, are certain to make Maximum Rock Festival an even more obvious success, and will further contribute to the construction of an impeccable reputation, which shall attract a larger audience – both from inside Romania, as well as from other countries.
“In the next few months, we will continue to announce new names, prepare top performances by both foreign and local acts, arrange exhibitions, fairs, contests and so on, so that, when ready, the audience will have a complete experience.
