On the heels of two sold-out shows in Tokyo last week, renowned guitarist Marty Friedman (ex-MEGADETH) has announced two additional Japanese performances in support of his new album “Inferno.”
On October 11th, Friedman will appear at Puma’s largest store in Osaka, where he will perform live at a special in-store event. The following Saturday, Friedman will play live at Japan’s largest annual heavy metal music festival, Loud Park, alongside Dream Theater, Manowar, Arch Enemy, Dragonforce and more.
Friedman will then continue the “Inferno” worldwide assault on a U.K. trek with Kreator and Arch Enemy. The tour will also include support from Norwegian forward-thinking “blackjazz” act Shining, whose frontman Jørgen Munkeby lent his lively saxophone chops to the “Inferno” standout “Meat Hook,” and whose members will serve as the guitarist’s backing band during the tour.
