Massacre Records has checked in with the following announcement about inking a deal with MAVERICK:
“Are you ready for a hard rockin’, heavy hittin’, ass kickin’, dual guitar-wielding wrecking machine from Belfast, Northern Ireland? Meet Maverick, everyone!
“The band was formed in summer 2012 with the aim of writing music the way they wanted to hear it, combining elements from Skid Row, Van Halen, Whitesnake and Judas Priest.
“Maverick already played with bands such as Love/Hate, Faster Pussycat, Tigertailz, members of Cinderella and White Lion. Fueled by their passion for music, the power of their live shows is not to be missed! ‘Talk’s Cheap,’ a 5-track EP that received fantastic reviews, was released in May 2013.
“The band has forged a sound they can call their own, from ear-shattering screams and soaring vocals to ball-busting riffs and face-melting guitar solos.”
Maverick recently finished the recordings fir upcoming debut album “Quid Pro Quo.” which is set to be released in Autumn/Winter 2014 via Massacre Records.
