GOATWHORE – To Kick Off Metal Alliance Tour

GOATWHORE’s forthcoming new full-length, Constricting Rage Of The Merciless, is scheduled for release in North America on July 8th via Metal Blade Records. Fans who catch GOATWHORE live on the road as part of the Metal Alliance tour, set to commence later this week, will get the opportunity to reserve their copy of the CD at the band’s merch booth. Those preorders will include a special limited edition album laminate and exclusive T-shirt. The laminates come with unique preorder codes to be entered online to have the album shipped to the buyer upon release!

Constricting Rage Of The Merciless was recorded with producer Erik Rutan at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida.Their fourth studio outing with Rutan at the helm, all drums, bass, and rhythm guitars were tracked to two-inch tape to achieve an even darker, more ominous and powerful tone than ever before.

In related news, GOATWHORE’s A Haunting Curse and Carving Out The Eyes Of God are being pressed on vinyl for the first time ever! A Haunting Curse has been printed in a double gate fold sleeve on clear gold vinyl while Carving… is in a gatefold sleeve on clear vinyl. Both are currently available at http://indiemerch.com/metalbladerecords. Copies will also be available for purchase at the band’s merch booth throughout the Metal Alliance tour.

Set to kick off this Friday in Tempe, Arizona, Metal Alliance will level nearly two-dozen stages throughout North America concluding in Seattle, Washington on May 3rd. GOATWHORE will be supporting headliners Behemoth, along with 1349, Inquisition, and Black Crown Initiate. As a precursor, GOATWHORE will be playing two headlining shows in San Antonio and El Paso. Following Metal Alliance, they’ll embark upon a short run of headlining shows. See confirmed dates below.
