100 Proof Hatred headlined a kick ass show on this Saturday night March 31st at The Rock Star Sports Bar in Ft.Worth. 100 Proof Hatred is fronted by local metal veteran vocalist Donovan Warren who’s previously been with Bonerhead that consisted of former Lillian Axe members Darrin and John, also including Mongo of Hillbilly Orchestra. Bonetrip, Revenance, Creep Show and Fallen Angel were former bands before the resurrection of 100 Proof Hatred lineup in 06, comprised of guitarist Dave who’s previous bands were Sam Hell and Southern Engineering and guitarist Donnie Nall formerly of Ritual Misery, along with their skilled bass player Jerry, previously of Pitchfork Union and Revenance. Their rockin Drummer Chad was formerly in Planet 10 and had been referred to the band by Charles of Hellafied Funk Crew.
100 Proof Hatred had great original material that started with the hard-hitting songs The Reckoning, Bleeding Inside, The March, Betrayer, Insanity, Drunk On Blood, Choking On Life, Battle Scars and ending with Chrome Knuckles. The night wouldn’t have been complete without a toast to Dimebag before the end of the show. These guys really kick some ass and if you’re into any of their musical influences such as C.O.C. Pantera, Crowbar, Clutch, old school Metallica and Slayer then you definitely owe it to yourself to check these guys out live!!
