DECAPITATED are now looking at a late 2012 release for their upcoming “Covan Wake The Fuck Up” DVD. The effort includes a documentary and live tribute show centered around the bands former vocalist, Adrian “Covan” Kowanek.
Kowanek was left in a coma following a 2007 touring accident which eventually claimed the life of band drummer Witold “Vitek” Kieltyka. All proceeds from the DVD will go towards Kowanek‘s continued medical costs.
According to the band:
“Some time ago we’ve finished filming a documentary about Covan and “Covan Wake The Fuck Up Tour” which was held in January this year.
DVD will be available for purchase in the last quarter of this year. The entire income from sales will be used for Adrian’s treatment.
The content of the DVD will include the concert in the club “Kwadrat” in Krakow, which took place 28.01.2012.
There will be also a documentary and bonuses, like gallery, etc.
REDPIG Productions and Creative Music with the cooperation of Sound Division, Redshift Studio and Creative Music Studio are responsible for its realization.
