TMD has obtained rare concert audio of late great guitarist Randy Rhoads performing on May 30, 1980 at The Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California. This is the infamous ‘reunion gig’ (2nd set) with QUIET RIOT after Randy had already been hired by OZZY. This is actually after Randy recorded The Blizzard Of Ozz album, but before the Blizzard tour started. Here the listener is treated to a truly classic jam of the QUIET RIOT cut “One In A Million”, packed with one seriously cool as could be guitar solo by Randy that will surely put a smile on your face. Relive a moment in rock n roll history, when the innocence and musical greatness of late vocalist Kevin Dubrow and six string wizard Rhoads was front and center, on full display… for all in the attendance to experience. Though it was certainly a bittersweet moment for Dubrow, who was about to lose his best friend and band mate to the rigors of joining OZZY’s worldwide touring band, you can’t help but sense the joy and utter ‘high regard’ that each man held for one another.
