An official autopsy report is still pending in the case of late PANTERA drummer, Vinnie Paul Abbott, who passed away on June 22nd in his home, during his sleep it is said.

One thing my wife pointed out is how Vinnie was always surrounded with people, going from one party to the next, and always dropping into the local spots like the Rail Club in Fort Worth, Texas. It seems odd that nobody saw any signs of him having struggles when he has other people who always stay with him at his residence, including his girlfriend, Chelsey Yeager. What I am attempting to do is conduct a proper death investigation for Vinnie Paul, so we can rule out any chance of foul play.

VINNIE PAUL – Public Memorial Event Announced





It’s being reported that late PANTERA drummer Vinnie Paul is going to be laid to rest in a KISS casket, identical to that of his late bandmate and brother, Dimebag… courtesy of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.

Says TMZ: “Sources close to Vinnie’s family tell TMZ that the recently deceased musician and Pantera co-founder will be buried in a custom KISS casket provided by Simmons and co. We’re told the casket was offered as a gift at Vinnie’s family’s request. His brother, “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott was buried in the original prototype in 2004 after his untimely death.

Death metal icons, DEICIDE, are set to return in 2018 with a new studio effort entitled Overtures Of Blasphemy, which sees the band return to their roots to create a stellar and uncompromising extreme metal masterpiece. HELLFEST OPEN AIR FESTIVAL 2019 – Lineup Revealed





An initial lineup announcement has been made for the 2019 ‘Hellfest Open Air‘ festival, which will be held June 21st-23rd in Clisson, France. Among the acts booked thus far are:

Slayer
Manowar
Carcass
Mass Hysteria

The show is being billed as Slayer‘s final French live show as the band are out on with their farewell tour. The announcement was made via the below video. Roughly 140 more acts are expected to be announced in the months to come leading up to the festival.
