ARMORED SAINT will be performing their 1991 album “Symbol Of Salvation” in full on their July U.S. tour. A number of shows on the run will be recorded for a future live DVD while Act Of Defiance (ex-Megadeth, etc.) will open the dates. Armored Saint vocalist John Bush commented:

“‘Symbol Of Salvation‘! Arguably Armored Saint‘s most important record. These songs came out of us being dropped from Chrysalis Records and finding out about guitarist Dave Prichard developing Leukemia. The songs took on a much more emotional meaning than any other previous record.

We wrote songs of desperation like ‘Another Day‘ and ‘Last Train Home,’ experimental tunes like ‘Tainted Past‘ and ‘The Truth Always Hurts,’ and classic Saint rockers like ‘Reign Of Fire” ‘Dropping Like Flies,’ and the ti...

AT THE GATES – New Album Details Revealed

AT THE GATES have unveiled the official details for their new album “To Drink From The Night Itself“. Frontman Tomas Lindberg commented of the cover art:

“It has once again been an absolute pleasure working creativily with Costin [Chioreanu.] We had a lot of ideas for what we wanted to get across with the art this time around. Overall they were, not surprisingly, related to the general concept of the record. What is great with Costin is that he understands the band.

He knows what we are and where we come from. And me and him also have a strong artistic connection. I have never met anyone that goes so deep into the world of my lyrics and concepts...
