KOLLAPSE – Debut New Music Video

Danish sludgy post-metal trio KOLLAPSE have just revealed a music video for a new song off their forthcoming second album “Sult”, which is set to be released on April 9, 2021 via Fysisk Format, in cooperation with Maniyax RecordsDingleberry Records, and Virkelighedsfjern.

CEMETARIAN – Sign With Hells Headbangers

Hells Headbangers announces the signing of Texan death metal band CEMETARIAN. The first fruit of this union shall be the band’s highly anticipated debut album, slated for release later this year.

A veritable goldmine of underground veterans, Cemetarian include members of labelmates Thy Feeble Saviour as well as current members of Blaspherian, P.L.F., and Oath of Cruelty as well as ex-members of Morbosidad and Sacreligious Torment among many others. DEMON HUNTER have unveiled the first single, a reworked version of “I Will Fail You,” from their forthcoming album, Songs of Death and Resurrection, a “mostly acoustic and stripped-down” release due March 5 via Solid State Records. You can check out “I Will Fail You (Resurrected) above.

ICED EARTH – Jon Schaffer Arrested

ICED EARTH guitarist and founder Jon Schaffer has been arrested for his role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol earlier this month.

According to a WISH report, the Columbus, Indiana musician turned himself into authorities around 3pm today (January 17).

Schaffer apparently faces six charges, including “engaging in an act of physical violence in a Capitol building.”

After being photographed at the Capitol during the insurrection, Schaffer’s photo appeared on lists released by both regional and federal authorities as someone they were looking for.

EYEHATEGOD‘s forthcoming first new album in seven years, A History of Nomadic Behavior, is slated to drop on March 12th via Century Media Records. They have unleashed a second single from the twelve song album, titled “Fake What’s Yours” with a visualizer seen above.

THE CROWN – Debut New Single

Swedish death metal band THE CROWN have announced plans to release their latest studio album later this winter.

Recorded during the fall with producer Fredrik Nordström, the album is titled Royal Destroyer and will arrive on March 12 through Metal Blade Records. A video for lead single “Motordeath” can be viewed above.

“It is our album number ten, so now we are in the big boys club,” says bassist Magnus Olsfelt. “I think it in some ways is our crowning achievement, and it encompasses our sound across all albums on one defining record. It’s got it all – the early 90s death metal stuff, the haunting melodies, the thrash, the punk, the grind, the heavy metal and the more epic and doomy stuff.”
