Kirk Can Be Forgetful At Times: “Has anyone seen my iPhone?”

This is not a joke. METALLICA‘s guitarist Kirk Hammett has revealed he has some 600 song ideas for the band’s forthcoming new album. Hammett of course wasn’t as involved as he wanted to be in the group’s latest studio album “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct“ after infamously losing his iPhone which had over 250 song ideas on it.

Kirk recently told Uproxx of his progress with new songs:

THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER have shared a cover of Megadeth‘s “Go To Hell.” As the band explain below, they had hoped to potentially get it included in the newly released film ‘Bill & Ted Face The Music‘. They commented:

“We covered this Megadeth song from the “Bogus Journey” sequel in hopes that we could weasel our way on to the Bill and Ted 3 soundtrack. It didn’t pan out, but I’ll be damned if it doesn’t rule”

While the cover didn’t make the cut for the film and its soundtrack, new songs from Mastodon, Lamb Of God and more did.
