YNGWIE MALMSTEEN – To Release “Blue Lightning” Album

This Man Can Do No Wrong On The Six Strings!

Guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen will release his new album Blue Lightning – on which he pays homage to those from the blues world who have fuelled his artistic spirit for so long – on March 29th via Mascot Label Group. The album will be vailable on CD, Lightning Blue Marble 2LP (webshop exclusive) and Ltd Edition CD Box Set.

ALLEGAEON – Premiere New Song

Colorado’s ALLEGAEON will release a new album titled Apoptosis this spring.

Tracked at Flatline Audio in Denver with producer Dave Otero, the record is the band’s first to feature bassist Brandon Michael. “Musically, Brandon brings a huge new dimension,” says vocalist Riley McShane. “He has this wide breadth of music knowledge and stylistic proficiency that he draws from with excellent taste, and this makes a lot of the songs on ‘Apoptosis’ come to life.”

GERM BOMB – Debut New Music Video

GERM BOMB from Gothenburg, Sweden, has unleashed the official music video for the song “Siberia Wasteland” the track is taken from upcoming 4th full-length studio album “Gist Sucked Out”, which will be released on February 23. The video was produced by underground local heroes “Die On The Kitchen Floor Productions”

“Gist Sucked Out” contains 10 new songs and was recorded in Kust Studios, Gothenburg with Anders Borgh behind the knobs and as producer, the mix was handled by Martin Konie Ehrencrona  (In Solitude, Nifelheim) and mastering was taken care of by Magnus Lindberg (Cult Of Luna). OZZY OSBOURNE – Postpones UK Shows

Let Me Hear You Scream!

Judas Priest announced that the upcoming shows in Dublin, Manchester, Nottingham and Newcastle supporting fellow metal legend Ozzy Osbourne have been postponed after the headliner was taken ill. A statement from the band reads as follows:

“It is with great regret we have to announce that the first four UK shows on the Ozzy Osbourne/Judas Priest tour have been postponed due to Ozzy having a very bad case of flu – therefore Dublin, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle will be rescheduled at a later date – details to follow once finalised – we are very sorry that this has happened and to disappoint so many fans – we wish Ozzy well and look forward to the Glasgow, Birmingham and London shows together – and to the rescheduled ones in the future.”
