MACHINE HEAD – Phil Demmel And Dave McClain Leaving Band

Northern California metal act, MACHINE HEAD, have announced the departures of both guitarist Phil Demmel and drummer Dave McClain. The two are going to participate in the band’s forthcoming headlining tour.

Frontman Robb Flynn issued a video statement in which he admitted some fault in the pair’s exit and promised to do some soul searching. View HERE.

ROB ZOMBIE – To Join Marilyn Manson For ‘Twins Of Evil‘ Show

Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson will team up for another ‘Twins Of Evil‘ show later this year. The pair have been booked to play the Grand Sierra Theatre in Reno, NV on December 29th. Tickets for that will go on sale this coming Friday, September 28th. The two artists spent a good portion of the summer on the road together with that tour wrapping up last month.

Signing with a major record label, Geffen, Zombie and his band hit the big time with 1992’s La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1. The song “Thunder Kiss ’65” helped the album become a top 30 hit the following year.
