CHRIS CORNELL – Killed For Pulling Plug On His Foundation?

There have been many people raising questions about the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation being at the root of the marital woes between the couple who allegedly were on the way to divorce court had Chris stayed alive, according to an industry source. According to the following post shared on Reddit, the mishandling of the foundation funds was rampant.

The post has this to say about the strange dealings at the foundation:

FLESHKILLER – Streaming New Song

Indie Recordings recently announced the signing of FLESHKILLER. Founded by Ole Børud, Fleshkiller saw the light of day as a result of Extol’s return to hiatus after their last album in 2013. The upcoming debut album entitled Awaken was recorded and mixed between late 2015 and early 2017 at multiple locations around the world.

Also written by Ole Børud, the style of music mixes old school death metal aesthetics with rich harmonic prog fusion elements. Compared to his previous efforts in the genre these new compositions spark a new level of intensity. Debut album Awaken will be released in September. THE CONVALESCENCE – New Album Announced

Ohio symphonic death metal unit/recent Unique Leader signee THE CONVALESCENCE will release the new album “This Is Hell” on September 1st.

The ten-track offering was produced by John Burke (Forever In Terror, Captain Kid, etc.) at Vibe Studios, which was mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Despised Icon, Beyond Creation, etc.) at The Grid and comes wrapped in the macabre cover art of Coki Greenway (seen above).

The ‘Northwest Terror Fest‘ will return to Seattle, WA next year during the weekend of May 31st-June 02nd. It will be held across Neumos, Barboza and the Highline Bar. This year’s edition of the festival took place earlier this month and featured sets from Wolves In The Throne Room, Cephalic Carnage, Cult Leader and more. SUSPERIA – Signs With Agonia Records

Norway’s SUSPERIA, comprising former members of Dimmu Borgir and Satyricon, just inked a record deal with Agonia Records, with plans to release new album, “The Lyricist.” By the same token, the band will close the eight-year gap that separates the last opus, “Attitude” (2009).

“The Lyricist” will be the first studio album to showcase new vocalist, Bernt Fjellestad (a.k.a. Dagon, Guardians of Time), who’s official stage debut with the band was made at last year’s 70,000 Tons Of Metal Festival at sea.
