tmd
tmd

BLACK LABEL SOCIETY have officially announced that their new ‘temporary’ drummer is Johnny Kelly of TYPE O NEGATIVE fame. Johnny replaces Will Hunt (Evanescence), who recently departed the group – after having played on only one album. It’s being said that Johnny will only be the BLS drummer for the remainder of the current European tour… no word yet on who will become the full-time BLS drummer. Any suggestions?

MARILYN MANSON – Drummer Quits

tmd
tmd

Den Headz, it looks like MARILYN MANSON needs to find a new drummer… because Ginger Fish (after 15 years of being in the band) has departed the lineup. Here’s the official word from Mr. Fish himself:

“After much deliberation and constant reflection of where my life has been and where it could or should be heading, I am regretful to inform the general population, and the fans, that I have decided to step down as a member of Marilyn Manson and see where my life, and the knowledge of my availability cares to take me.

I can’t stand by to watch opportunities pass me by simply because the knowledge of my availability wasn’t clearly expressed by me. I wish my brothers well, and I expect nothing but great things from them. Any inquiries can be sent to bookgingerfish@gmail.com.”

DeEvolution, the anticipated debut full-length from CYNTHESIS, is set for worldwide release via Sensory Records on April 19th, 2011.

A label priority for Sensory this year, the magnificent DeEvolution tells the story of an elite group of leaders from a heavily industrialized city who find, brainwash and then exploit an indigenous tribes’ shaman, believing he would be the perfect supreme leader. By propping him up as possessing all the answers to society’s ills, the elites use him in order to gain and keep more control over the masses in order to influence the masses via religion, media, consumerism and government.

Check out the brilliant cover artwork for DeEvolution created by Dennis “Damn Engine” Sibeijn (Exodus, Dragonforce, Lamb of God, Him) at this location.

WARBRINGER – Announce New Drummer

tmd
tmd

Den Headz, WARBRINGER have announced that Carlos Cruz (HEXEN) will replace Nic Ritter, who recently left the band. Here’s the official statement:

“After years of putting forth nothing but blood, sweat, and tears into my tireless ambitions for playing music, I have finally found an outlet where no more time is wasted. It was flattering to have been approached by Warbringer the first time they made a personnel change in 2008, but this time around it couldn’t have felt more like perfect timing.

They’re a collective group of humble, open-minded, down-to-earth guys who share the same fanaticism for music as I do and are the tightest musicians I have ever played with. I’ve never felt so welcomed and inspired to move forward...

PANTERA Facebook Reunion Tour Cause Hits 1,500 Members, New Poll Launched!

tmd

1,500 fans on Facebook have now joined the effort in calling for a one-off reunion/tribute concert (or a series of US dates) with the surviving members of disbanded Texas groove metal act PANTERA: vocalist Philip H. Anselmo, bassist Rex Brown and drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. Despite the ongoing rumor in the press recently that fans wanted the band’s legendary former lead guitarist, Dimebag Darrell Abbott, who was shot and killed on stage in Dec/2004, replaced in a new Pantera band reformation, the Facebook Pantera Reunion Tour Cause wants to make it clear that they do not support the idea of replacing Dime, for nobody could ever truly replace the late great guitar God. Honestly, who would ever suggest a thing like that?

Sodahead...
